With the digital EHX String9 pedal, the sound of the guitar can be transformed into deceptively real-sounding string sounds. For this purpose, 9 presets are available, all of which can be modified with the available controls. The String9 works polyphonically and recreates the sound of real string instruments and also has string sounds of well-known sythesizers on board. No modification to the guitar or MIDI. For three of the presets, the special EHX Freeze effect is available, with which sounds can be sampled and kept endlessly if desired.
